Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ShineSuite collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. "We" means ShineSuite; "you" means the detailing business using the service and/or the end-customers whose information is stored in the service by that business.

1. Information we collect

Account information: business name, owner email, password (hashed), subdomain.

Business data: services, pricing, availability, settings, email templates, and other information you configure.

Customer information you upload: names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, vehicle details, job history, and notes about the customers of your detailing business.

Usage & technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps. Used for security, diagnostics, and improving the service.

Payment data (when applicable): handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and secure the service
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, invoices, and other transactional messages on your behalf
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use customer information from your account to train AI models or target advertising.

3. Sharing

We share information only with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal requests when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

4. Your responsibilities as a business user

If you upload customer information to ShineSuite, you are the data controller for that information. You must have a lawful basis to collect it, provide your customers with appropriate notice, honor their privacy requests, and comply with applicable laws (including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CCPA where relevant). ShineSuite acts as a data processor on your behalf.

5. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation to protect data. No system is 100% secure; you use the service at your own risk. Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@shinesuite.app.

6. Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. After cancellation, data may be retained for up to 90 days for backup and recovery, then deleted. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email privacy@shinesuite.app to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

ShineSuite is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
